And now for something completely different...

This post is a little different than my usual.  It still has photos, but these are personal ones.  Back in January, my boyfriend and I moved into a really awesome rental house.  Even though we are renting, we have no plans to move any time soon.  We live in L.A.... it's better to rent than try to own in this town right now!  We now have a yard for our dogs Ruby & Sydney to play in; we have our own offices (basically our own rooms to keep as messy as we want without hearing complaints from each other); we also get our own closets, but Brett is totally jealous of mine.

And as with any move into a bigger space, we had to buy new furniture, but we took our time finding pieces and decorating the walls.  It is the first time that both of us felt that we were making a house a home.  I'm very proud of what we have done and will show off portions of it as the year goes on.  Today we'll be starting with the living room.  The room with the wall so big, we just HAD to buy a 60 inch TV because 42 inches was just too small (Seriously? Seriously!).  And opposite the 60 inch TV is the "Wall of SConnerFoto Fame": a collage of some of my favorite photos to date.  The photos will rotate and change, but right now, can you see one of your photos up there?  Or recognize any from previous posts of my website?

This is also the room that I meet with prospective brides & grooms so that we can get to know each other over a glass of wine, beer or tea, go through the albums I offer, get licked by Ruby & Sydney and perhaps get cuddle on by our cat Tater (if you follow me on twitter then you have probably seen all of my Instagram pics of all of pets).

I hope y'all enjoy the little peek into my world and stay tuned for more posts next week!

Have a wonderful weekend!

That is Ruby.  She wanted to say Hi to everyone!

SIXTY INCHES!!  It's so cool that I watch too much Bravo TV on it.  Anyone else as addicted to all of Bravo's programming as me?

Brett came up with the idea for these shelves and found most of the decorations for it between antique stores and Ross (yes, Ross!).

Do you recognize any of the photos?  And what about those old cameras? Those are also Brett's idea.  It took 5 hours to hang everything, but it was totally worth it!
